When I launched this publication just 23 days ago, I named it Love Letter to a Foodie—because that’s exactly what it was. A love letter to the ones who crave flavor, who find joy in feeding their people, who make art with herbs, spice with intention, and cook with heart. That hasn’t changed. But as this little space starts to grow into something bigger, something bolder, it feels right to give it a name that sizzles just a little more.
So today, Love Letter to a Foodie becomes Salt & Sizzle.
This new name captures what I want this space to feel like: vibrant, flavorful, confident, and grounded in the kind of cooking that brings people together. Salt, the foundation. Sizzle, the spark. The balance of comfort and creativity. Whether it’s a Tuesday taco, a bold Instant Pot curry, or a summery grilled steak salad — it all lives here, with fresh herbs and plenty of soul.
